#585
There’s ocean waves
breathing against sandy shorelines,
the coos of birds
colouring the sunsets,
windy laughter
chuckling through the leaves,
yet no such sound
can compare
to the inflections
of my love’s voice.
#586
Hidden, deep in the black
within the candles flame
is still yet another spark
another light
as you are,
tucked in at the end of
another dark day,
an endless fractal
of light and warmth,
waiting with a smile,
a kiss, and twinkling eyes.
#587
Sweat on your brow
ache in yours bones
an incline,
heaven bent,
Sysiphus’s path,
right to the peak,
again
and
again
and
again.
#588
There’s something in sweet things,
short lived treasures,
the linger of sugar,
waves of chewed bliss,
brief moments that
beg for others,
simple little joys
colour our cheeks,
and brighten our mood.
#589
All i ask, is for forever,
for everything,
for all,
each moment,
or at least the first and last,
of each day,
and night,
to be spent beside you.
